Heading across the country to visit a family member having some health issues.

I may have to put life on hiatus for a bit while I deal with some stuff.

I've been reading “The Body: A Guide for Occupants” by Bill Bryson. The human body is an amazing piece of engineering, that's for sure.

I've set my Hobonichi daily planner aside and pulled out my Traveler's Notebook again.

I found myself using the Hobonichi for my calendar and task list and carrying a separate notebook for meeting notes while at work. Not a huge deal, but just one more thing to have to keep around somewhere.

I can keep one insert with my schedule and to-dos and another insert for notes. But I need to pick up some new inserts and a few accessories. Time for a trip to Jenni Bick in the city, I guess!

You know what I say a LOT?

To be fair

I attribute it to being a Libra and always trying to be diplomatic about things. I also try to see things from different perspectives ... so there's probably a bit of that in there too.

I know sometimes people don't want to even think about what the other side/person is going through or where they're coming from, but it's still important to consider. That doesn't mean you have to agree with it or approve ... but I still feel you should know why somebody acts the way they do.

Still in the early stages of our half marathon training. Sundays are our “long run” days. We're currently (only) at four miles. But, I can feel my fitness levels rising and I can see the numbers getting better.

My family got into watching RPDR about two years ago. We started with season 5 and were hooked almost immediately. spoiler alert The winner, Jinkx Monsoon, is one of my favorites of all time.

In the past two years we've binge watched all the seasons (except season 1) including two of the All Stars seasons. It's just been a lot of fun for us.

To follow-up on yesterday's post, my office-mate and I chatted and came up with a plan.

I started a new job a few months ago in which I needed to actually go into an office. It was quite the culture shock after working from home for almost five years.

One of my biggest worries was obviously going back during a global pandemic. The company seemed to be handling things well by requiring masks, providing wipes and hand sanitizer, not allowing gatherings in the hallway, etc.
